Marriage: A Holy Covenant
Written by Lisa Steyn on 9 April 2021
According to the Bible, marriage is a holy covenant before God (Gen 2:24), and therefore entering into such a covenant should not be taken lightly. Anyone who is, or has been, married will surely agree.
However, after the sound of the wedding bells have faded, the hard work starts. Yes, marriage takes effort and decisive effort at that. I have to decide to be selfless, faithful and committed, loving and forgiving. This is no mean feat.
Marriage is not always easy, but putting in the work can result in a glorious relationship that will bring honour to God. Living in a society where marriage is not necessarily honoured is difficult, to say the least. This gives us so much more reason to ensure that our marriages can stand up to the tests that daily challenges throw at us.
Radio Pulpit will be hosting a Marriage Enrichment Camp for anyone who seeks to make their marriage even better. Our speakers, Pastor Solomon Mahlangu and Sipho Kaleni have scriptural and practical advice that will help enrich your marriage. The camp will take place from 16-18 April 2021 at the beautiful Pure Joy Guest Lodge.
