Above all, Lukho Mkwedi Phuthi is a devoted believer with a deep passion for winning souls through her music ministry. In addition to her spiritual pursuits, she is an accomplished MC and public speaker.

Lukho is a loving wife and mother to two beautiful girls, Oa and Kea.

Born and raised in East London in the Eastern Cape, Lukho’s love for radio broadcasting began 13 years ago. While she doesn’t consider herself a jack of all trades, she takes pride in being versatile and eager to learn in any environment she enters.

Jesus replied, ‘You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.

Her favourite scripture is John 13:7. Amid life’s turmoil and confusion, this scripture has been an anchoring word in my life. It reminds me that not everything will make sense to my human mind at times, but I rest assured that Jesus knows what He is doing, and in the end, it will all make sense. Ultimately, He is in control.

If Lukho could say one thing to South Africans it would be:

Be the change you want to see in your country. Change will not come magically but through each of your contributions.

She loves radio because even on her worst day, she can be used as an instrument to touch a life, one soul at a time.
