Masetshaba Faith Mpete

Masetshaba Faith Mpete is a minister of the gospel, an entrepreneur, a multifaceted communicator and a daughter of the Most High God.

She grew up in a township called Mogwase in Rustenburg, North West Province with a love for media at a very young age. The wordsmith then pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dramatic Arts, Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University. She later obtained a Brand Innovation Diploma from the Vega School of Design.

The budding entrepreneur started her career in 2012 when she worked as a journalist for Soweto TV News. She then moved on to work as bulletin director and sub-editor for the community television station in the year 2013. Masetshaba cut her teeth into the news and current affairs space by presenting a show called News & Views as well as the 6 pm prime time news on Soweto TV. She also worked for One Gospel and Dumisa TV for close to 5 years until branching out into full-time business and radio broadcasting. This dynamic young woman is also part of the Global Forum of Women Entrepreneurs as the Director of Youth and Mentoring Projects. A global network of women in the marketplace.

One of her favourite bible verses is Psalm 16:5:

Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure

She is the founder and director of Setshaba Communications, a media consulting firm specializing in workshop facilitation, voice-over recording, writing, scripting and content creation. Masetshaba delights in reading, writing, fellowship, baking and cooking for her loved ones. She is family orientated counting her family, friends, and mentors as her biggest blessings from Elohim.

Masetshaba is passionate about encouraging and teaching young people through her media workshops and by ministering the gospel. Her dream is to maximise her God-given gifts and talents in ministry and business to impact nations positively. Tune in with her for Spectrum every Friday from 16:00.
