Refilwe Lamola shows
Refilwe Lamola is an innovative twenty-something Radio Pulpit presenter and entrepreneur with a heart full of love for people.Â
Born and raised by her late single mother, Tumisang, they lived in the Seshego Township in Limpopo, which lies directly northwest of the city of Polokwane.
One of the most important lessons my mother taught me is to always make room for disappointments. It helps me to learn the lessons that the situation is teaching me and move on.
Refilwe says this lesson helped her handle situations when things didn’t go her way.
In 2011 she moved to Pretoria to study civil engineering at Tshwane University. This journey was brought to a halt when her mother passed on in 2014. Refilwe discovered the radio broadcasting world in 2016 when a lady who believed in her motivated her to volunteer at Tshwane FM, where she learned a lot about radio. Her desire to work at a place that will benefit her spiritually eventually led her to Radio Pulpit.
“I was accompanying my friend to drop off documents at Radio Pulpit. I met some people there and was asked to send my demo,” Refilwe tells. One year later, in February of 2019, she received a call, and we welcomed her into the Radio Pulpit family.
In 2017 she married Keitumetse, who she describes as a people’s person who loves laughing. He is a songwriter, plays three instruments and loves worshipping. She is firmly anchored in the Word of God, has experience in public relations, administration and event organising. Renilwe recently launched her own business, Harvest Hair, a hair product line for African hair.
Tune in Sundays with Refilwe Lamola for Morning Delight on Radio Pulpit.
