Sam Buthelezi

Sam Buthelezi is a respected and much-loved Radio Pulpit presenter with more than a decade’s worth of experience.

He always wanted to be on radio. He loved listening to it and even imitating the presenters. Sam ended up volunteering at Kangala Community Radio, where he worked in the current affairs department. One day he heard an advertisement on Radio Pulpit for a Ndebele-speaking person to help with current affairs. He applied, and the rest is history.

I am very proud of the fact that I was the first person to do current affairs in an African language at Radio Pulpit.

In 2011 he married Mispar, who is a teacher and pastor. They have two children, a daughter, Praise, and a son, Emmanuel. 

Sam Buthelezi is an ambassador for the Word of God and uses his programmes on Radio Pulpit to spread the Gospel. He is also the senior pastor at the Mighty Restoration Center in Moloto. The ministry aims to connect people with God and equip them for their destiny. He wants to help people to be transformed by the Word of God. Sam’s favourite scripture is John 8 verse 32.

He is also a Sales Executive at Radio Pulpit and is busy pursuing studies in marketing.
