Thomson Mashakeni

Thomson Mashakeni joined Radio Pulpit in 1998. He is a dedicated and passionate presenter, and we are proud to have him as a member of the family.

In 1986, at the age of 19, he gave his life to Jesus Christ and started his journey of purpose and impact.

“My journey has been pleasant, although there have been some low-lights,” says the father of two boys. He is married to Joyce, and they have two sons, Thomson Junior and Bright. In his younger days, Thomson wanted to be a teacher. He later taught English and Environmental Science at a primary school.

His second love was radio. Thomson always wanted to be part of a platform where he could impact the lives of people. That dream was later realised when he joined the Radio Pulpit team. 

Thirty-four years after he was born again, this family man still passionately promotes the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
