Growing Faith, Building Character through Virtue.

Families of Virtue helps believers grow in faith and character through Christian virtues

Families of Virtue is a ministry dedicated to restoring the pursuit of virtue in modern Christian life. Throughout history, Christians have emphasized the study and practice of virtue, yet this rich tradition has faded mainly in today’s world. Families of Virtue believe that vice not only affects behaviour but also harms the soul. Virtue, therefore, is essential for every person—and believers, empowered by their faith, have a unique foundation for cultivating it. Their ministry offers the tools to bring virtue back to the core of individual, family, and church life. While it’s not a cure-all, many personal and communal challenges stem from a lack of virtue.

A truly virtuous person is a person made whole. For believers, a virtuous life is marked by a renewed mind, growing knowledge, and deepening wisdom in Christ. It means being as prudent as serpents, just in our interactions, having unwavering character, and being sober-minded in self-control.

Their mission is to help believers, families, and church communities cultivate time-honoured virtues anchored in faith, hope, and love. The fruit of such virtues is a life of righteousness, ensuring that believers are neither ineffective nor unfruitful.

Together, let us reclaim the powerful heritage of virtue and live as whole, righteous individuals in faith.
