Sowing and reaping is a mystery of heaven

Written by on 18 June 2022

The concept of ‘sowing and reaping’ is one of the mysteries of heaven that Jesus explained through a parable in Matthew 13. When the disciples asked Him why He uses parables as an explanation, Jesus said: ‘Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.’

Jesus continued by saying: ‘Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:

Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

We are blessed to be able to read the Bible in which Jesus explains the mysteries such as ‘sowing and reaping’ to us. As a Christian radio station, Radio Pulpit daily sows the Word of God through broadcasting and spreading it in many other ways, for example, The Word for Today inspirational messages, podcasts and social and digital media.

Because you sow into the work of PMG, we are blessed beyond measure. Your seed enables us to spread God’s Word. Reaping is part of the sowing process, it is a blessing that God provides to those who wilfully give towards His work and kingdom.

May you be blessed for ‘your eyes have seen and your ears have heard’ and may the Kingdom principle and heavenly mystery of sowing and reaping become evident in your life.
